Sunny Rhyl Sea Fishing Diary

Sunny Rhyl Allotment - 2007

01/04/2007

Having dug the manure in and finished erecting the border fence, this weekend was all about the seeds.

I had a selection of plastic '6 pot' blocks and also some peat pots. In addition, I bought a large bag of multipurpose compost from B+Q.

In the pots I planted Cucumber, Corgette, Tomato's, Leeks, Celery, Runner Beans, French Dwarf Beans + Strawberies.(I think that was all)

Broccoli was sown direct into a drill in the bed.

Also, the Onion sets were plugged in rows in the plot along with half a dozen Garlic cloves.

The Potatoes are currently 'chitting'. I will have to seak further advice regarding when and how to plant.

Trevski gave me some nice looking liquid. Apparantly it is the 'juice' from his wormery. Got to be good stuff!!!! I will be diluting this and watering the plot with it.

I placed all the pots in the sunniest spot in the house. This happens to be the lounge :)

Tom and Barbara would be proud of me :)

Happy Days!!
