Sunny Rhyl Allotment - 2007

Having had a mix of pots and growbags last year, my plans for 2007 were to finally sort out a veg patch.
A suitable space in the garden was allocated and it was time for the hard bit, digging the plot!
Having removed the turf, 2 spades down was the next instruction.
The soil was light and sandy. Infact, the 2 ft down was pure sand.
It was a labour intensive afternoon. Thoughts of the harvest ahead kept me going.
Eventually, all the stones, bricks, rubble and roots had been removed. The area is now looking great!
