They told me that you could 'fish from your car' on Colwyn Bay prom. Today I had no choice!!! With waves breaking against the sea wall, sending torrents of water upto 30ft above my head, the only dry place was in the trusty motor.
I commenced 2hrs before high and only lasted 1hr. The time to leave was when the pebbles started to clear the car and hit the road. Packing my gear away was like a scene from Tiswas! Plan B was to relocate to Rhyl......
