Bait: Fresh Lug, Frozen Squid
Having recently sold his Ocean Frenzy and upgraded to an Ocean Prowler Big Game, Sinbad headed out on the Big Game's maiden voyage to the smoothound mark off Rhyl.
Unfortunately he couldn't get hold of any Crab, so he plumped for Fresh Lug and Frozen Squid.
He set off in the Big Game and what a comfortable ride it was, stacks of room for all his toys.
Eventually he got to the mark. The weather was hot and misty.
He had a visit by a curious charter boat who was also fishing the mark.
After a few hours and loads of pin whiting, a right royal rod bend signalled a good fish on. Hopes of a target Smoothound were soon dashed when a 7lb Bass broke the surface.
Caught on Squid-Head on a wide gap short shank boillie hook.
What a fantastic christening for the Big Game !!!!!!!!!.
