Bait: Fresh Lug, Frozen Mackerel, Frozen Crab
Fished Rhyl beach on Saturday in search of an early bass. With a strong westerly in our faces, Sinbad and I had high hopes.
The wind was a real test of endurance all day, the hail storm was interesting but the sleet was just plain annoying! The sun did make an appearance later in the afternoon though.
I was fishing a 3/0 pennel with lug and crab. Sinbad was fishing a similar rig with Mackerel. Fished 1 hour before low to 2 hours after. No bites and nothing caught. Will be trying again in the near future. (if I ever regain feeling in my fingers)
