Kinmel Bay - 01/07/2007 |

Venue - Kinmel Bay Persistance is the key to many things in life. It is more than applicable in the quest to catch a fish. Having had an un-enviable run of blanks recently, I was out on Kinmel Bay beach to sort the situation out. I only had some re-frozen Lug with me.
I baited up a 2 hook paternoster close in and a 2 hook flowing flattie trace at distance. The recent strong winds had subsided slightly and switched to a far more pleasant southerly.
So with my shorts and sandals accompanied with my Waterproof jacket and hood, I spent the next 3 hours periodically getting soaked, in a warm sort of way! A seal kept me company for the duration! 2hrs after high and with no noticable bites to report, I called it a day.
The only thing persistant today was the rain! Happy Days!! |
