Bait: Fresh Lug, Frozen Mackerel
After Mondays stormy weather, it was a much more pleasant experience to be stood on the beach today.
There was a moderate Westerly and a slight surf.
I fished a 3 hook flapper close in on the spinning rod. Lug tipped with Mackerel was used to tempt a Whiting or 2.
A 2/0 clip down Pennel was fished at range. Dogfish, Bass, Whiting, Dabs, Flounder and Codling were all a possibility.
I did have 2 bites close in on the light gear that came to nothing.
No interest in the larger baits at distance!
The blanking still continues!!!!!
