Bait: Frozen Lug, Frozen Mackerel
Andy and Gaz ventured out onto a windy if not wet Kinmel Bay beach today.
There have been no reports of Whiting from this beach in recent times, but surely there were some out there?
Indeed there were!
After a big knock early on that led to nothing, it was 'Whiting soup'!
Andy's 3/0 pulley rig saw action on the frozen lug, Gaz had success with a 2 hook flapper loaded with frozen lug on size 2 hooks.
The Mackerel tips didn't seem to help today.
Andy is definately a man for all occasions. After his Abu birdsnested, the day was saved when he pulled out his Diawa Slosh!
Final result was Gaz 3, Andy 2.
With such a good result during daylight hours, Andy reckons this venue would be non stop at night.
With all that fresh air and excitement, it was time for a well earned lunch. What better than taking advantage of ASDA's 2 cooked chickens for a fiver deal.
