Kinmel Bay - 14/04/2008 |

Venue - Kinmel Bay A few spare hours had me heading down to my favourite local high water venue. Kinmel Bay greeted me with a brisk NW wind and some great surf. Text book Bass conditions!!! My Warbird was out with the usual flappers baited with frozen Lug and frozen Razor. I also gave my Berkley Cherrywood spinning rod it's first outing of the year. With a Dexter Wedge, I had a bit of fun working the inner shoreline.
I had fun, but no fish on the spinning rod.
My attention was back on the baited rod. A great double knock had me reeling in. A Flounder approaching 2lb was landed. It happens to be the first fish I have caught on Razor.
With darkness approaching, it was time for a few star jumps!
With no more action to report, I headed home via Booze Busters. A perfect day!!!!!! Happy Days!! |
