Bait: Frozen Lug, Fresh Mussel
The storms of the previous day had subsided and conditions were calm.
Only 1 rod out today. My trusty 3 hook flapper was baited with Frozen Lug tipped with Fresh Mussel.
I fished for an hour from high water.
With such a small tide, the water never even reached the bottom of the bank.
No joy with the first cast, but 2nd throw brought a half decent knock.
The result was a double header of a small Whiting and a half decent Flounder.
Next and final cast led to another Whiting.
Again, a nice little mini session that helped satisfy the urge to feel the sea breeze in my face.
Total for the day was 2 Whiting and 1 Flounder.
