Bait: Fresh Ragworm
I had 3 hours spare and some left over Ragworm. Just perfect for a cheeky little session on Llandudno Pier.
One rod was used with a 3 hook paternoster with size 6 hooks baited with small segments of Ragworm. This was dropped just over the side.
The other rod had a float fished shrimp rig again baited with Ragworm.
It was quiet on the float, but the action straight down made up for it.
The Pouting were active and I hade numerous in the first hour.
Every now and again, the Pouting were beaten to the bait by a Corkwing Wrasse.
The float rig eventually started to produce.
A few decent (ish) Pollack and a couple of Mackerel made for entertaining fishing.
A few more Pouting and it was time to go.
A nice little session!
Total for the day was 4 Pollack, 8 Pouting, 4 Corkwing and 2 Mackerel.
