After a really enjoyable session on Friday, I returned to North Shore in search of some more Mackerel.
Fished 2 hours before to 1 hour after high. Caught about a dozen in all. Most were caught at range between 2 and 1hr before high. Things went quiet after that. I did have a big take later in the session, felt like a string of Mackeral on but all went dead in an instant 20 yds out. Probably a good sized single fish. Would a Bass go for a feather ???
There were countless rods out. Too many for my liking. I feel the solitude of Rhyl beach is required soon :)
