Sunny Rhyl Sea Fishing Diary |

For years now, I have beaten the bank holiday crowds by driving in the opposite direction to the masses. This Easter was no different. I passed the miles of traffic heading into Sunny Rhyl on my way to a more peaceful environment. Pen-y-Cloddiau is a component part of the Clwydian range. At it's summit, it is 424m above sea level. Fortified during the Iron Age, the stone ramparts of the northern perimeter are still present. With views to die for, the stiff walk to the summit is duly rewarded. There are not many places you can retreat to on a sunny bank holiday weekend and have the place to yourself.
Happy Days!!!!
