I had fancied adding a light spinning rod to my collection for quite a while now.  Having quizzed Sinbad earlier today on what to go for, I decided to take a look in Harbour View Tackle to see what they had on offer.

The guy serving was both helpful and extremely knowledgable, so I let him come up with a suitable combination for me.

Wychwood Rogue 60 Fixed Spool Reel

300yds of 14lb Stren Mono

Storm Chug Bug Lure and a Dexter Wedge

I hear that a 10lb bass was caught on Prestatyn beach last week, so in addition to my 2 small schoolies recently and the bass we had in October last year, I am keen to give this set up a go soon. 

Either way, a good addition for the boot of the motor!
