This was my 4th outing having re-discovered the delights of sea fishing very recently. Fished
Splash Point 1hr before low to 2hrs before high. I had no interest in the squid or mackerel. After switching to fresh whole lug(2 on a pennel) I missed a few bites when the 2nd to last gully was boiling up. Moved to fish the last gully about 3hrs before high and caught a small Bass (my first! :) )
