Bait: Fresh Lug
I headed to Splash Point on an Easter Egg Hunt.
With Mission 1 accomplished, it was now time to catch some fish!
Armed with some Fresh Lug, 3 rods were set up.
Close in, I had a 2 hook 1/0 flowing trace.
At range, a 3 hook flapper with 1/0's.
I had a couple of knocks on the beachcaster early on. No fish landed though.
It went quiet over low.
I had another bite an hour after low, but again the fish got away.
2hrs after low, I was ready to pack up when I had another knock.
Finally I managed a fish.
A small Dab had taken a liking to a full Lug offering.
With my blank saved, I could return home with my head held high :)
