Bait: Fresh Lug
With a busy day planned, I could only manage 2 hours to get out fishing. I
decided to head for Splash Point and fish 1 rod 2 hours after high tide.
It was a classic millpond situation.
Very pleasant to be out but I have had little success on previous visits with such calm conditions.
With just a my beachcaster for company, I loaded up a 3 hook flapper with fresh Lug and let rip.
All was quiet. Very, very quiet!!!!!!!
Cast after cast, no knocks, no bites, no nibbles and definately no fish!
I saw the 2 hours out and left having had a pleasant ponder, but not much else.
<Note to self: Do not fish Splash Point during millpond conditions>
