Bait: Fresh Lug
It was the return of the sand spike tonight!
With just 1 rod out, one of my fvourite pieces of fishing equipment was given an all to rare outing.
Made of alluminium, it is light to carry and works a treat on clean sandy beaches.
Highly recommended!!!
A quiet first hour.
No takers for the fresh Lug.
With the tide pushing me back, I cast out and retreated to dry land.
There is always potential at this venue when the tide marches you backwards.
Tonight was to go someway to proving this.
A small Flounder was caugh in shallow water with the tide rushing over.

Thats one fish more than usual :)
