Strange Goings On At Kinmel Bay - 24/03/2007

Sinbad took a stroll onto Kinmel Bay beach today. What an amazing sight he was greeted with.

Thousands of Seagulls covered the newly uncovered sands as the tide was retreating.

It was a feeding frenzy!

On closer inspection, it appeared that the sands were littered with shell fish.

Mainly Clams and Razor Clams, but there were loads of Starfish as well.

The Gulls had been having a field day, but there were loads of clams still in their shells. There were squirts of water popping up all over the place.

Not sure what has caused this phenonemon. My bet is the storms of the last week has dislodged the poor fella's.
