Thanks to a great response, this event is now confirmed. In support of Swazaid, a North Wales charity supporting the plight of the orphans of Swaziland. Anglers of all abilities are welcome. All that is asked is that you make a donation towards Swazaid. The venue is Kinmel Bay.
Fishing to be over high water on Saturday, 29th September. With high water at 1320hrs, fishing 2hrs before to 2hrs after. It's a really big tide, so the potential from this venue is good. Species on offer are likely to be....... Dabs, Whiting, Dogfish, Eel, Bass, Flounder, Turbot, Weever. The boats are still catching Huss, Ray, Smoothound and baby Tope from the inshore marks, so the big tide may offer a few surprises to the optimistic :) Parking is in the free car park just past Asda. See map below. If this car park is full, relief car parking is in Asda itself. For those of you with sat nav, the postcode is LL18 5EQ
Meet up in the free carpark anytime after 10.15am. Look out for the Orange VW Campervan. The kettle will be on! I am still working on getting hold of some prizes. If this works out, there will be a competitive edge to the event. I'll keep you all posted on this front. If you are not aware of the problems facing the people of Swaziland, here are a few brief stastics....... With a population of 1 Million, 100,000 are CHILDREN orphaned to AIDS. 40% of the population is HIV+ Life expectancy in Swaziland is 33! To help, all we have to do is turn up and fish! If you need any further info, please let me know by emailing fairziff@sunnyrhyl.co.uk or by phone on 07879681597 See you there. Happy Days!!!
