Towyn - 13/06/2008 |

Venue - Towyn With a NW wind in our faces and a decent surf rolling in, it was textbook Bass conditions. The only bait used today was freshly dug Lug.
Despite the wind and surf, the venue was fishable with a 4oz gripper. Some weed showed but we weren't plagued with it.
It didn't take long for the bites to arrive. First cast for me and it was fish on. A Schoolie was landed.
Simon was getting knocks from the off. The fresh Lug was doing the business.
Don had been into fish from the off. Cast after cast resulted in a Bass. This was the first of 6 for him.
I had missed several bites but eventually another was landed.
The story was the same allround, lots of bites and plenty of fish landed. Tony had his fair share.
There were no monsters on show today but the fishing was fantastic from the off. With the exhileration of breathing in a healthy NW wind and great company, the fish were just the icing on the cake. Happy Days!!!
